Verified photo sightings on record.

Ecological & Conservation Significance

A photo-verified sighting can be independently checked by a marine biologist long after the dive is over — it is the difference between an anecdote and a citable record. Twenty-five verified sightings is enough volume to be useful in Reef Vision’s public Darwin Core biodiversity exports.
